Hello there bookish friends! Hope you are all having a great week. I’m not sure if it’s just us, but all the Book Girls just kind of had a weirdly blah last week. It’s been a week for weirdness apparently. We talked a lot about the craziness that is the women’s figure skating at the Olympics. Such an oddly unsatisfying year for it:
Some big news in Martha’s world is that she tried to read a romance!!! She didn’t get far, but she tried, and we are going to give her credit for that! Here is the book she tried to read:
One of the interesting things to come from this series, is the description of the Ice Planet creatures’ money maker. It’s become so famous, that someone has even made a replica of it for us!
You can get your very own here: Barbarian Shlong
Ok, ok. Let’s get to some slightly more normal book talk…

Putting the podcast on has a lot more costs associated with it than one would think, including fees for website hosting, for podcast hosting, for upkeep of the recording equipment, and so much more. Here’s a shout out to our awesome supporters, you guys rock!
